MIQUEL MARTÍ I POL

Miquel Martí i Pol dead at Tuesday 11th the last month because he had a multiple esclerosi, he is one of the most populars, importants and loved in Catalonia. He was born in Roda de Ter (Barcelona). When he was a child he worked in a factory of clothes. He was a self made man because he didn't go enough to the school. He helped all people that were interested with his poetry. When he was 19 years old he had a pulmonar tuberculosis,in the same year he started to write poems and translate French to Catalan books. He had published a lot of books most of them in Catalan and he won very important prizes. The most important poems are: Paraules al vent, Quinze poemes, el Poble, la fàbrica, Estimada Marta... This poetry characteristics are: the simple vocabulary and the description of ordinary situations to describe complex and deep feelings.
