Girona is a beautiful town, placed in the north-east of Spain, in Catalonia community, and there into Girona's province. Above Girona there are the Pyrenees and France. Below there is Barcelona City.
In Girona province you can find a lot of beaches and many mountains. Girona Town has an old quarter called "Call Jueu" since the IX century.We also have a gothic cathedral, the symbol of our town.
"Les fires" are celebrations that we have in autumn. I these days we don't go to the school. In the funfair there are many rides in park called "La Devesa". The Fires are celebrated in homage to the host of Girona, Sant Narcís, our patron saint.
